What it’s like to work together
I work with adults and older teens who are navigating the unique challenges of modern life—whether that means working in tech, identifying as neurodivergent, feeling overwhelmed by expectations, or simply trying to make sense of who they are and where they want to go.
Many of my clients are engineers, developers, designers, gamers, creatives, and deep thinkers who spend a lot of time analyzing problems but find it harder to apply that same clarity to themselves. Some are managing anxiety, burnout, ADHD, autism, social challenges, or questions around identity and belonging. Others feel stuck despite being highly capable and successful on paper.
As a therapist, I strive to create a space that feels genuine, comfortable, and free from unnecessary formality. Therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or intimidating. I enjoy bringing humor, curiosity, creativity, and even gaming into our work! I believe therapy works best when it connects to the things that matter to you.
Together, we'll explore the patterns, systems, and stories that shape your life while developing practical tools to help you move forward. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, build on your strengths, and create meaningful change without losing sight of what makes you uniquely you.
My background includes counseling, education, and the tech industry, which allows me to understand both the professional pressures and personal challenges that many of my clients face. I am fluent in Mandarin and offer therapy in both English and Mandarin.
My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. I earned my Master's degrees in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from St. John's University.
