What it’s like to work together

I work with teens and adults who tend to think deeply about their experiences and are trying to better understand themselves—their story, their identity, and where they’re going.

Many of the people I see identify as neurodivergent, highly-capable, or feel like they experience the world a little differently. Some are navigating anxiety or pressure, while others are exploring questions around culture, identity, and belonging. Often, they’ve spent a lot of time thinking things through on their own, but still feel stuck when it comes to moving forward.

In our work together, we focus on making sense of your experience in a way that actually fits you. We might look at patterns in your thoughts, your environment, and your personal story—while also finding practical ways to help you move forward with more clarity and confidence.

My style is thoughtful, curious, and collaborative. I aim to create a space where you can explore your experiences openly, think things through without judgment, and begin to see yourself in a clearer and more connected way.

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) with a background in counseling, education, and the tech industry. I have experience supporting clients navigating academic and career pressure, identity development, and life transitions. I am also fluent in Mandarin and offer therapy in both English and Mandarin.

My approach integrates CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

I received my Master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling from St. John’s University.
